Become a recognized training company
Good training companies are essential. Here, students gain practical experience and learn what's expected of them. Only accredited training companies are permitted to train for vocational (MBO) programs. Do you want to hire an intern or do you have a vacancy for an apprenticeship? Then first apply for accreditation from the Cooperation Organization for Vocational Education and Business (SBB). You must meet two requirements for this.
The first requirement is that you offer the student a workplace that fits within the daily business operations. The student must be able to practice the profession for which they are training. The level (1 to 4) of the training is also important. The training company must be able to provide the student with the assignments they need to meet the learning objectives (via interim tests).
The second requirement is that you provide the necessary facilities: there is a practical trainer who can effectively transfer subject-matter knowledge and maintains contact with the school to stay informed about the progress of the practical training. You use a practical curriculum to provide structured training for the student, are willing to dedicate time, space, and resources to the training, and collaborate with a consultant from the knowledge center.
SBB may establish additional criteria.
