International education
Information for education professionals
The Brainport region is becoming increasingly international, and this is also reflected in education. As an education professional, you play a crucial role in preparing pupils and students for an international society and in interacting effectively with speakers of other languages.
The ambition is for all schools in the Brainport region to incorporate internationalization into their policies by 2025. This requires not only adjustments to curriculum but also the appropriate knowledge and skills of teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff. You will learn how to effectively navigate cultural differences and how to help your students operate openly and successfully in an international society.
Practical and applicable training
Summa is happy to help you develop your language skills – English and Dutch as a second language – as well as your intercultural awareness and communication skills as a teaching professional. We also offer courses on interacting with non-native speakers and provide effective support for this group, for example, in reading. This way, you'll be well-prepared in the classroom and can prepare your students for an international future.
Direct handles
Our instructors share the latest insights and offer practical tools you can put into practice immediately. With sufficient enrollment, we can also deliver the training at your location.
