What are you becoming?
As an automotive technician, you could work at a car garage or in the garage of a company that owns its own vehicles. You could also progress to the Level 3 All-Round Vehicle Technician training program.

In addition to your 4 days of work, you will receive 1 day of theory lessons and practical lessons at school in a specially equipped practice centerAll class days consist of a practical and a theoretical part.

What prior education do you need?
For basic vocational training (level 2) you must meet one of the following conditions:
- You have a diploma in pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) with a basic vocational track, a pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) with a framework vocational track, a pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) with a theoretical track, or a mixed track.
- You have an (older) diploma from lbo, vbo, mavo or mavo-vbo.
- You have an entry-level training or basic vocational training diploma (level 2).
- You have proof that you have successfully completed the first three years of pre-university or senior general secondary education (havo) or pre-university education (vwo). This proof is recognized by the government.

Work
During a personal interview or introductory meeting, we'll determine if this program is a good fit for you. To participate in this program, you must work at an accredited training company. If you don't work for such a company, we'll help you find a suitable work placement. You'll be responsible for finding one yourself.
