You will learn this

 

In this course you will learn the basic knowledge and skills that every employee in the technical industry should possess:

  • Manual and machine sawing;
  • External, internal parallel, flat and square filing;
  • Using a column drill with a twist drill for clamping, positioning, pre- and counter-drilling and through holes;
  • Drill to depth with a column drill with a conical and flat drill bit;
  • Manually apply external and internal threads;
  • Based on a working drawing and a work order:
    • reading and interpreting working drawings;
    • determine processing sequence and working method;
    • extract material;
    • record machining data;
    • select cutting, clamping and measuring tools;
    • set products to be edited.
  • Measure and inspect limited products;
  • Working according to stated quality requirements;
  • Work in accordance with established safety regulations.

This basic course is a great starting point for quickly becoming a production worker in the metalworking industry. It also serves as a suitable foundation for pursuing courses in machining, sheet metal construction welding, and mechatronics.
