Carpenter (bbl)

You can work at a carpentry company, a construction company, or a contractor. Further education is also possible. You can then follow the level 3 training program. All-round carpenter.

You work 4 days a week at a training company and go to school 1 day a week.

The statutory tuition fee for the 2026-2027 school year is 314 euros.

Laptop

For many courses, students cannot do without a laptop. See the overview whether this applies to your course and download the correct specifications.

During your studies, you choose one or more electives to specialize or broaden your knowledge. For example, in entrepreneurship, management, programming, or a language. High chance of work

Looking to start working right after graduation? Then this program is a great choice! This estimate estimates the likelihood of employment at the level and within the field of study, provided you complete the program within the standard study period.

For basic vocational training (level 2) you must meet one of the following conditions:

• You have a diploma in pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) with a basic vocational track, a pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) with a framework vocational track, a pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) with a theoretical track, or a mixed track.
• You have an (older) diploma from lbo, vbo, mavo or mavo-vbo.
• You have an entry-level training or basic vocational training diploma (level 2).
• You have proof that you have successfully completed the first three years of pre-university or senior general secondary education (havo) or pre-university education (vwo). This proof is recognized by the government.

Work

During a personal interview or introductory meeting, we'll determine if this program is a good fit for you. To participate in this program, you must work at an accredited training company. If you don't work for such a company, we'll help you find a suitable work placement. You'll be responsible for finding one yourself.
