Commercial employee (bbl)

I would like to learn how to call and email companies that are or will become customers.

This is a training course for creative talkers who know what they want: a commercial position in the business market.

As a sales representative, you'll sell products or services to other companies from the office. You'll connect with them via email and phone, promote the products, and ensure people think positively about them. Sometimes, you'll have to negotiate before the sale is finalized, for example, about the price or delivery time. You're friendly, meticulous, and communication is second nature to you.

And then the next challenge begins. How do you ensure that customer remains satisfied? That you know what they think of the product? And that you maintain that relationship? You prepare quotes, place orders, and research the market. In short, as an inside sales representative, you're responsible for the entire sales process. At Summa Economics & Business, you'll learn how!

Areas of interest

More information.

What are you becoming?

For example, you could work as an inside sales representative at a small or medium-sized business or a wholesaler. You can also pursue further studies, for example, with Business Administration, (Junior) Account Management, or Marketing and Communications Officer programs.

What does your education look like?

During the commercial employee work-study program, you'll learn the theory and apply the relevant topics to your work. You'll therefore need a work-study company with a contract, recognized by the S-BB. You'll attend school one day a week and work at the company for at least 24 hours. You'll work for the same company for the entire program.
