Commercial employee (bol)

I would like to learn how to call and email companies that are or will become customers.

This is a training course for creative talkers who know what they want: a commercial position in the business market.

As a sales representative, you'll sell products or services to other companies from the office. You'll connect with them via email and phone, promote the products, and ensure people think positively about them. Sometimes, you'll have to negotiate before the sale is finalized, for example, about the price or delivery time. You're friendly, meticulous, and communication is second nature to you.

And then the next challenge begins. How do you ensure that customer remains satisfied? That you know what they think of the product? And that you maintain that relationship? You prepare quotes, place orders, and research the market. In short, as an inside sales representative, you're responsible for the entire sales process. At Summa Economics & Business, you'll learn how!

More information.

What are you becoming?

For example, you could work as an inside sales representative at a small or medium-sized business or a wholesaler. You can also pursue further studies, for example, with Business Administration, (Junior) Account Management, or Marketing and Communications Officer programs.

What does your education look like?

Year 1 is a foundation year in which you take classes together with students from the Business Administration, Junior Account Manager, and Recruiter programs.

Practical assignments form the foundation of the program. You'll learn professional skills through lectures, workshops, group learning, or independent study. You'll work on projects from regional companies. Your learning process could include coaching during telephone sales, guidance in market research, or even pitching your results to your client. This is an effective learning method that offers ample opportunities to adapt to your learning style.

You'll learn how to communicate in the business world, using useful and natural conversation techniques, and take both commercial and creative courses. You'll receive extensive practical training, and from year two onwards, you can do internships at leading companies. The program stays up-to-date with industry developments.

The learning years consist of: 20% elective parts, 30% profile part, 50% basic part
