Enterprising furniture maker/(ship) interior builder (work-based learning)

As an entrepreneurial furniture maker or (ship) interior builder, you can work for an interior construction company or as a furniture maker. Additionally, you can work independently. You can also progress to a higher professional education (HBO) program, such as Technical Business Administration or Construction Technology Teacher, as well as a more creative program in furniture design.

You attend school one day a week. In addition, you work at least three days a week at a recognized training company, where you perform tasks relevant to the program.

During your studies, you choose one or more electives to specialize or broaden your knowledge. For example, in entrepreneurship, management, programming, or a language. To be admitted to this course you need:

• MBO level 3 diploma in the same field.

The program officially lasts four years. If you meet these entry requirements, you already have extensive knowledge of the subject. You will therefore be exempt from the first and second years. You will start in the third year of the program and can complete it in two years.

Work

During a personal interview or introductory meeting, we'll determine whether this program is a good fit for you. To participate in this program, you must work at an accredited training company. If you don't work for such a company, we'll help you find one.
