You'll learn how to install electrical systems, including power supplies, ventilation systems, fire alarms, and data systems. You'll lay the cables and pipes for an installation and install components such as switches, lighting, and fire alarms. You'll also assist with system testing and mentor colleagues.

You'll receive extensive practical training from experienced instructors. In the modern environment of Brainport Industries Campus, you'll learn what it takes to become a skilled craftsman or craftswoman. This includes learning to plan, work in a team, and manage the expectations of customers, colleagues, and your employer. You'll also learn to supervise technicians and monitor their work.

With your diploma, you can work for an electrical installation company, an infrastructure company, an alarm and fire alarm system company, an IT/network company, a telecom company, or a home automation company. You can continue your education, including the level 4 electrical installation technician program for residential and commercial buildings.
