First electrical installation engineer in the built environment (bol)

Installing electrical systems: you have a talent for it!

You install electrical systems. Examples include power supplies, ventilation systems, fire alarms, alarm systems, and data systems. You lay the cables and pipes of a system and install components such as switches, lighting, or fire detectors.

You'll also assist with system testing. You'll often work independently, in residential settings as well as in non-residential buildings, such as offices, hospitals, schools, and factories. This means varied work in ever-changing environments.

At school and during internships, you'll learn what it takes to become a skilled electrical engineer. This includes working safely and learning to plan. We pay close attention to managing the expectations of customers, colleagues, and your employer. You'll also learn to work in a team, supervise technicians, and monitor their work. Because that's also the responsibility of the first technician!

You will receive lessons in the modern environment of Brainport Industries Campus.
