First electrical systems engineer

In this course, you'll learn to install electronic systems or components for machines, building management systems, data networks, or telecom installations. You'll lay cables, adjust systems, and test them to ensure they operate safely and sustainably. On-site, you'll perform maintenance and repair any errors.

You'll receive extensive practical training from experienced instructors. In the modern environment of Brainport Industries Campus, you'll learn what it takes to become a skilled craftsman or craftswoman. This includes learning to plan, work in a team, and manage the expectations of customers, colleagues, and your employer. You'll also learn to supervise technicians and monitor their work.

With your diploma, you can work for an electrical installation company, an infrastructure or alarm and fire system company, a home automation company, an IT/network company, or a telecom company. You can also continue your education. For example, you could take the level 4 electrical installation technician course for residential and commercial buildings.
