Furniture maker/(ship) interior builder (bol)

Make your own furniture and interiors

As a furniture maker or (ship) interior builder, you assist in the production of furniture or interiors. You work on cabinets, tables, and chairs, or on complete kitchens, bathrooms, shop or office interiors. You often work under the supervision of an experienced colleague.

Based on a working drawing, you will make custom-made furniture or interior components. You will work primarily with various types of solid wood and sheet materials. You will learn how to handle these materials, the machines, and the tools. Furthermore, you will learn how to use, set up, and maintain the machines. Safety and sustainability are paramount in this process.
