Language test 3F Dutch

The Dutch government has established quality requirements that childcare organizations must adhere to. These requirements are part of the Childcare Innovation and Quality Act (IKK). These quality requirements will take effect on January 1, 2025.

Childcare and after-school care workers must be able to demonstrate specific training for working with babies and young children. The language test consists of four separate components, each of which can be administered independently. Summa helps you comply with the IKK law!

We have four keys:

The Language Test Reading 3F (TOA)

• This language test is administered digitally at one of the Summa locations.

The Listening Language Test 3F (TOA)

• This will be taken digitally at one of the Summa locations.

The language test speaking 3F

• This exam will be administered orally. You will give a presentation or speech during the exam. You will receive the assignment by email two weeks before the exam.

The language test Conducting Conversations 3F

• This exam is administered individually or in a small group and lasts a maximum of 1,5 hours. You will participate in an interview based on a number of topics that will be emailed to you in advance. The topics are related to your field of work. You will receive the assignment, which covers various topics, by email no later than two weeks before the exam date. You will be given various topics to explore, and the assessors will determine which topics will be covered during the interview. You will receive a more detailed explanation with your invitation.
