Middle management construction officer – Architecture (bol)

The Middle Management Construction - Architecture program allows you to work at various companies involved in the built environment. These companies are often specialized and actively involved in the design, structural engineering, construction, maintenance, and management of buildings.

You could work at an architectural firm, consultancy firm, construction firm, construction company, or project developer. You could become a work planner, draftsperson, or project manager, for example. Further education is also an option, for example, with a higher professional education degree in Construction Engineering or Architecture.

The program lasts four years. You'll attend school in the first year, and at the end of the first year, you'll complete an internship. Years two and three also include an internship. In the fourth year, you'll complete a four-day internship and attend school one day a week.

You can find an internship company that best suits your interests. During your studies, you'll connect with many potential employers in the region who can help you further your career.

The statutory tuition fee for the 2027-2028 academic year amounts to 784 euros.

During your studies, you choose one or more electives to specialize or to broaden your education. Examples include entrepreneurship, leadership, programming, or a language. For the vocational training (level 3) and middle management training (level 4) you must meet one of the following conditions:

• You have a diploma in pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) with a pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) track, a theoretical pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) track, or a mixed pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) track.
• You have an (older) diploma from lbo, vbo, mavo or mavo-vbo.
• You have a basic vocational training diploma (level 2) or a diploma from another vocational training course (level 3).
• You have proof that you successfully completed the first three years of pre-university or senior general secondary education (havo) or pre-university education (vwo). Or you have another diploma or certificate recognized by the government.

It is important that you have had subjects from the Technology sector in your package.
