Sports and exercise coordinator: lifestyle coach (bol)

Lifestyle coach: motivating and supporting others towards a healthy lifestyle

As a lifestyle coach, you'll work with people to achieve a healthy lifestyle. You're naturally passionate about sports, and sitting behind a desk isn't for you. You're eager to share your enthusiasm with others. That's what you'll learn as a lifestyle coach.

You'll learn the basic skills of various sports and exercise activities. You'll learn how to work with people, because in your job, you'll interact with all sorts of people, from young to old, from athletic to physically challenged. You'll also learn to organize, supervise, and lead activities.

As a lifestyle coach, your focus is on guiding and motivating people to change their lifestyle. You can help people who want to overcome their alcohol or smoking addiction, eat healthier, or exercise more, with workshops, coaching, and lifestyle classes. You're a fitness trainer, nutrition advisor, and coach all rolled into one.

When registering, select 'Sports and exercise coordinator'.

This program has a general foundation year. After the first year, you make a choice and progress to one of four profiles, such as this one. The profile you choose becomes your specialization. You always start in the foundation year.

The sports training we offer is physical in nature. Please be aware of the risks (such as injuries) that can accompany sports and games.
