Sports employee (2 years) (bol)

You see what needs to be done and guide people through sports

You'll perform service-related tasks, from supervising sports activities to cleaning and inventory management. You're flexible, active, and athletic, but you also enjoy helping and guiding people.

In addition to activities, you'll help with everything at the sports or recreational company where you work. This includes preparing materials, maintenance and repairs, cleaning, helping and speaking to people, and managing inventory.

You like to be active, are flexible and you like to work with people!

It's important that you make people feel comfortable and motivate them to participate in sports and exercise. You want to give them an enjoyable workout or day, and you do everything necessary before, during, and after the activity.

During the program, you'll learn to prepare, execute, and clean up sports and exercise activities, so people can exercise safely and enjoyably. You'll attend classes both in the classroom and in the field. You'll also complete an internship in the sports/recreation sector.

In the second year, there's a wide range of electives where you can learn more about a specific sport and earn an instructor's diploma. These include KNVB youth/junior football trainers, fitness instructors, ski/snowboard instructors, dance instructors, and so on.

If you see yourself working in sports, sign up for the Sports Employee course!

The sports training we offer is physical in nature. Please be aware of the risks (such as injuries) that can accompany sports and games.
