Summa International Fashion (bol) – English-language course
More information.
The fashion hotspot in Eindhoven
We're training the next generation of fashion pioneers! You are the future, and you'll shape the new world of fashion with your colleagues. Summa Fashion is located in the vibrant city of Eindhoven, where design and innovation go hand in hand. Here, you'll have the space to develop personally and find your own voice in fashion. You'll be taught in the region's new fashion hotspot: Microstad Eindhoven, near Central Station. You'll receive (practical) lessons alongside enterprising neighbors, partner companies, and fashion professionals.
What are you becoming?
In the second year you can choose which programme you want to specialise in: Fashion Management or Fashion Design.
A Fashion Product Coordinator works within the fashion industry. This could be within a business process outsourcing, wholesale, or retail organization. You might work for a company that develops and sells products under its own label, or has products custom-made for sale as a private label. Furthermore, the company itself can purchase resources and components. In such a setup, only production is outsourced.
A Fashion Designer can work in an integrated clothing company or in a business process outsourcing chain, in a department where collection items are developed and produced. This can be done by a design studio or a freelancer.
Possible further education
After graduating, you can progress to various (English-language) higher professional education courses:
- AMFI – Amsterdam Fashion Institute (Amsterdam)
- Fashion and Textile Technologies – Saxion University of Applied Sciences (Enschede)
- TMO - Fashion Business School (Doorn)
- Artez (Arnhem), HKU (Utrecht), WdKA (Rotterdam), St. Joost (Breda)
