Admission without a diploma
If you don't have a diploma (yet) and want to learn more to find a good job, you can enroll in the Entry-level program. This is a practical, level 1 program. You'll learn everything you need to know when you start working.
1 year training
The program lasts one year. Afterward, you can start working as an assistant, under the supervision of an experienced colleague. To participate in the Entry-Level program, you must be at least 1 years old on July 16st of the year in which the program begins.
Small class, permanent mentor
Summa Plus offers various pathways from its Entry-Level program. The Entry-Level program lasts one year. You'll have a dedicated mentor and work in a group of up to 1 students. You'll receive intensive guidance and extensive practical experience. There are two learning pathways to the program:
- BOL (learning and internship): you go to school and do a two-day internship for part of the year.
- bbl (work and study): you have a job and go to school one day a week.
You have many options
With the work-based learning program, you choose one of the specializations at the start. With the full-time vocational program, you'll spend the first eight weeks exploring your options. After that, you'll choose one of the specializations. So, it's okay if you're not sure which direction you want to pursue at the start.
After your Entry level training
After completing the Entry-Level course, you will receive a level 1 diploma. This may allow you to progress to vocational education (level 2) or start working.
Preliminary training
Entry is for young people and young adults who don't (yet) have a diploma, want to continue their education, or want to find a job later. To participate in the Entry program, you must be at least 16 years old on July 31st of the year the program starts.
Apply before April 1st. After applying, you'll be invited for a personal interview where you'll get to know the school and we'll determine if this program is a good fit for you.
