The standard specifications are recommended for Summa Artist . An Apple MacBook is also suitable. However, Summa does not provide support on Apple computers and macOS.

For Summa Automotive, the specifications in this document are a guideline. The program has prepared a cover letter to assist with the right choice for this program. Please also read the additional information regarding the SolidWorks installation requirements . Download the specification for the Automotive Engineering Technician program or the standard specifications . These are the absolute minimum specifications for these programs. A laptop with an i5 (generation 9 or higher) processor and graphics card is recommended.

For Summa Beauty & Lifestyle, the standard specifications are recommended, but a laptop with basic specifications is also suitable.

For almost all Summa Bouw study programs, the standard specifications are recommended. Exception: for the Architecture and Smart Building programs, the high-end specifications apply.

For Summa Brood & Banket, the standard specifications are recommended, but a laptop with basic specifications is also suitable.

For Business programs, different specifications are recommended for various levels. The basic specifications apply to Level 2 and entry-level programs , while the standard specifications apply to Level 3 and 4 programs . These specifications apply to the International Business program.

For Business Services training courses, standard specifications are recommended, but a laptop with basic specifications is also suitable.

These specifications apply to Summa Elektro- & Installatietechniek .

For Summa Engineering, these high-end specifications are recommended, but a laptop with these standard specifications is also suitable.

For Summa Facilitair, the standard specifications are recommended, but a laptop with basic specifications is also suitable.

For Summa Fashion, the standard specifications apply to Basic Fashion Employee, and the high-end specifications to the other programs . These specifications apply to International Fashion.

For Summa Horeca, the standard specifications are recommended, but a laptop with basic specifications is also suitable.

For Summa Laboratory, the standard specifications are recommended, but a laptop with basic specifications is also suitable.

For Summa Aviation Services these are standard specifications recommended.

For Summa Leisure, the standard specifications are recommended, but a laptop with basic specifications is also suitable.

For Summa Wonen & Design, the level 2 courses are standard specifications recommended. For Furniture Makers level 3 or 4, choose these high-end specifications. For the Interior Advisor and Living Advisor Level 3 programs, these high-end specifications recommended.

NEW SPECIFICATIONS
As of July 8, 2026, the specifications for the Furniture Makers Level 3 and 4, Interior Advisor, and Living Advisor Level 3 programs have changed.
