Summa opened the 2026-2027 academic year with a talk show about Lifelong Learning. The central message: an MBO diploma is not a final destination; continuing to learn, being adaptable, and collaborating are essential in a rapidly changing world.

Three students from Summa’s Legal Professions program found an internship through a pilot involving open hiring. Through an anonymously assessed practical case study, talent and skills took center stage. The pilot investigates how internship discrimination can be reduced.

Illunga (36) from Congo is learning Dutch at level A2 through Taalkracht. With four evenings of lessons per week, he is working on his dream: to get back to work in IT.

Summa students are opting en masse for the new Cleanroom / Contamination Control elective. The first group filled up immediately. With practice-oriented lessons, students prepare for work in the high-tech industry of Brainport.
