Sim is a hybrid lecturer. He works at ASML and teaches at Summa . As a link between education and the business world, he co-develops the training program.

“I combine my job with teaching at Summa. As a hybrid lecturer, I act as the link between education and the business world, and together with about 30 other companies, I help develop the training program. We notice that technicians can be intimidated by data and networks, but the modern technician needs to be able to work with them. Until recently, there was a lack of proper training for this. The Smart Industry Technician fills this gap. For example, I give workshops to students at ASML. We use VR headsets to solve problems remotely. It is cool for students to see how that works.”
