Open evening Summa helps young people with their study choices
Exams are approaching, and with them comes the question: what will you do after pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) or senior general secondary education (HAVO)? For many young people—and their parents—this isn't an easy choice. The selection is vast, the registration deadline is approaching, and no one wants to make the wrong decision.
Schools in the region are noticing that students are increasingly making their study choices later and more consciously. This applies to pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) students, but also to senior general secondary education (HAVO) students who want to move on to vocational education (MBO) after their third or fourth year. They want to know what a program actually entails, what an internship is like, and whether they feel comfortable there. Parents are looking ahead: what can this program offer them, and how is the support provided?
