Summa signs renewed agreement for a strong labor market in Southeast Brabant

13 February 2026
Signing of Cooperation Agreement

Summa has signed the new collaboration agreement in the Southeast Brabant labor market region.

With this, municipalities, employers' and employees' organizations, educational institutions, implementation organizations and Brainport Development confirm their joint responsibility for a future-proof labor market.

For this purpose, the Regional Council has been established with a delegation from these partners, as in every labor market region. As a contact school, Summa plays a leading role in the Education domain within the region. This means we actively connect education and the labor market. We ensure that businesses, schools—from primary and secondary education to universities of applied sciences and universities—and government bodies connect. We place relevant themes on the agenda of the Regional Council and ensure that educational initiatives in the region are aligned.

Summa is also strongly committed to lifelong development. Residents of this region must be able to continue developing through retraining, reskilling, and further education. We also create pathways to sustainable employment for people with limited basic skills.

In this way, we and our partners contribute to a strong and future-proof labor market region in South-East Brabant where talent can develop and companies can grow.
