High Tech Discovery Route 2024: “This was really cool!”
The High Tech Discovery Route took place on Saturday, June 8, 2024. That day, hotspots like the Brainport Industries Campus and the TU/e campus opened their doors to enthusiastic children, teenagers, students, parents, and grandparents to discover technology and engineering in a playful way.
At the region's top tech companies and educational organizations—including Summa—young and old could visit and, more importantly, explore the "Op de Proef-tuinen" (Experience Gardens). Visitors caught a glimpse of the stories behind the most beautiful and impressive technical innovations.
Visitors were warmly welcomed at the Brainport Industries Campus for a wide range of fun and educational activities. They learned to solder, battle robots, and program a robot car. But the most impressive activity was playing a video game starring their own custom-designed avatar.
