I can't wait to explore multiple styles of cooking

I interned at a grand café to learn the basics: boiling potatoes, pureeing fruit, blanching vegetables. But now I also do mise en place and plate preparation. In the evenings, I was responsible for several appetizers and I also help with desserts and high teas.
The start of the internship was exciting. I was really thrown in at the deep end, having to work in a kitchen right away. What I really enjoy is that I'm learning so many new things. For example, I filleted a fish for the first time. It was so cool to be able to do that.
After successfully completing the program, I'd like to explore other cooking styles, such as pastry. I'm also very interested in Japanese cuisine. I'd also love to learn how to prepare something delicious for people with dietary restrictions or allergies.
