Summa students invite women with (former) breast cancer to a pampering day.
Students from Summa Beauty & Lifestyle are organizing a special pampering day on Wednesday, May 13, for women who have (had) breast cancer. During this day, personal attention takes center stage, and participants are given the space to unwind. Participation is free. You can register. here.
“Sometimes there is a need for a moment for yourself. Just away from appointments, treatments, and daily worries. With this pampering day, our students provide just that,” says Rian Somers of Summa Beauty & Lifestyle“Under the guidance of the teachers, students offer various treatments tailored to the wishes of the participants.”
The women can choose from, among other things, a facial, hand or foot treatment, make-up, or a hair treatment. Everything takes place in a calm and safe environment, with an eye for comfort and well-being. In the afternoon, a free lunch is served by students from Summa Horeca.
Special training
To give each participant the care and attention she deserves, the students underwent special training. They learned how to work safely and professionally with women who have had breast cancer, including knowledge of skincare products suitable after medical treatments such as chemotherapy.
Intensive support
The students are following their training in beauty care, foot care, and hair care and are intensively supervised by their teachers during this day. Together, they ensure a professional and careful execution of the treatments. The previous two pampering days were hugely successful and were highly appreciated by participants and students.
Register in advance
The pampering session will take place on Wednesday, May 13 at Summa Beauty & Lifestyle at Sterrenlaan 4 in Eindhoven. There is room for 70 women who have (had) breast cancer. Advance registration is mandatory via this link.
