All-round production technology employee machining (bbl)

Thanks to your programming talent, the CNC machine produces a perfect product

As an all-round precision machinist, you produce products using complex computer-controlled machining machines, also known as CNC machines.

These machines allow you to apply various machining techniques, such as milling and turning. You work on materials like plastic, steel, cast iron, and aluminum. You work based on a working drawing and program the machine using a CAD/CAM program, for example. Then you clamp the workpiece and let the machine do the work. After machining, you measure and inspect whether the product exactly meets the requirements in the drawing.

As an all-round machinist, you also contribute to new productions. At school, you'll learn to operate complex CNC machines safely. You'll also receive instruction in CAD/CAM programming. For this, it's important that you have technical and spatial insight and the ability to think abstractly.

You will be taught in the modern environment of Brainport Industries Campus.
