All-round furniture maker/(ship) interior builder (bol)

The specialist for furniture and interior construction

As an all-around furniture maker/interior designer, you might work on the interiors of a shop, office, or home, for example, building kitchens or bathrooms.

As an all-around furniture maker/interior designer, you'll work on challenging projects, such as the interiors of shops, offices, or homes. You'll create kitchens or bathrooms, for example. You'll also be the point of contact in the workplace. You'll guide colleagues during projects for which you're responsible, conduct consultations, and monitor production.

At Summa Wonen & Design, you'll learn to work with (power) hand tools, woodworking machines, and CNC-controlled woodworking machines. You'll learn all about materials and machinery, and you'll learn how to create something constructive. You'll develop a solution-oriented mindset and an eye for detail.

You'll learn how to make furniture and interior paneling and how to assemble it on-site. You'll process wood and sheet material into furniture components using CNC-controlled woodworking machines. You'll assemble furniture components into pieces by applying structural elements. You'll handle the finishing of furniture, such as laminating, veneering, sanding, and other similar tasks.
