You will learn this

You'll learn to work with a team to complete projects from start to finish. Think of a shop or office interior, or a kitchen or bathroom in a home. Because you're the go-to person in the workplace, you'll learn to guide colleagues, consult with them, and monitor project progress. In addition to vocational training, you'll also take courses in Dutch, math, and citizenship.

The statutory tuition fee for the 2025-2026 school year is €735.

Summa training courses and teaching materials provided by Summa are exempt from VAT. Read more about training costs.

Additional costs

Please note that textbooks cost €350 per year. You will also need a laptop.

Duration

The program lasts three years. You'll attend school one day a week, on Tuesday afternoons and evenings. You'll have seven hours of classes per week. You'll also need to plan for four hours of home study per week.

What can I become with this education?

With your diploma, you can continue your studies at a level 4 course, such as enterprising furniture maker/(ship) interior builder, work planner industrial production with wood or work planner furniture industry/(ship) interior construction.

Preliminary training

You can only take this course if you work for an accredited training company. If your employer isn't accredited, or if you're unsure whether it is, please contact us. We're happy to help.
