First mechanic service and maintenance mechanical engineering (bbl)

Know how it works and how to fix it

As a first-class service and maintenance engineer in mechanical engineering, you're the technical specialist who maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots machinery and installations. You'll not only work with your hands but also supervise fellow engineers. You'll often be the point of contact on-site.

During your program, you'll learn to work independently and confidently with technology. You'll receive theoretical and practical training in the modern environment of the Brainport Industries Campus, where you'll learn about control technology, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering, among other things.
You'll be working alongside others. Therefore, a collaborative attitude and excellent communication and social skills are essential. You'll also always be mindful of your own safety and that of your colleagues. The machines you maintain are always safe to use.

As a first-level service and maintenance engineer in mechanical engineering, you'll work at industrial companies, such as the metal products industry, machine and equipment manufacturing, the transportation industry, and the food industry. You'll work in a technical department within the company. Alternatively, you might be a service provider contracted for service and maintenance. In that case, you'll work on-site and interact with a diverse range of clients and a changing work environment.
