Fashion Tailor (bol)

You live fashion. You sleep fashion. You are fashion!

Fashion is your passion, your passion, and your life. You know exactly what's in style and follow trends closely. You capitalize on them. As a specialist, you're involved in every aspect of clothing production.

You'll design clothing, create technical drawings and patterns, and create perfectly finished and fitting garments. You'll also supervise colleagues and ensure they can work efficiently and safely. You'll be responsible for HR policy, administration, and new work techniques.

At school, you learn a lot about clothing, fashion, fabrics, techniques, and the production process. We also focus on leadership and how to interact with people. After all, you are the face of your company or department and the point of contact for customers and employees.

The course started off really well. We worked in groups and made a paper dress on a mannequin. I didn't know anyone in my group, but together we had loads of ideas. And after three days, we had a cool dress. It even ended up in the school window and was presented at Dutch Design Week!

"Becoming a lawyer later, doesn't that sound fancy?" At least, that's what Victoria thought. After completing a dual track program in pre-university education (HAVO), Victoria decided not to continue on to pre-university education (VWO) or higher professional education (HBO), but to intermediate vocational education (MBO).
