You will learn this

This course will train you to perform basic care tasks. You will learn to work according to protocols that involve collecting data by measuring pulse, blood pressure, respiration, and temperature, administering medication, administering eye, ear, or nose drops, and donning and doffing support stockings. You will also learn to identify abnormalities in the client and how to respond appropriately in acute situations, for example, by calling on the expertise of other specialists when necessary.

This partial training is part of our certificate carousel Care & WelfareThe costs amount to €760. every 5 weeks (including exam fees, excluding course materials). Course materials cost approximately €90. You will receive a welcome email before the course begins informing you of the exact additional costs for course materials.

We can also provide this partial training in-company. Contact us to discuss the options.

Lesson times and location

Classes are held weekly from 9.00:13.15 AM to 3:XNUMX PM in the Summa & Bedrijf skills lab, Willem de Rijkelaan XNUMX, Eindhoven. Classes are not held during regular school holidays and on public holidays.

This partial training is part of our certificate carouselWeekly classes are held throughout the year. There are eight intake dates per year. From the date of enrollment, you will attend the number of classes required for your chosen program. Placement is based on order of enrollment. If an intake date has reached its maximum number of participants, it will no longer be possible to start at that time. During the program, you will complete practical assignments and ultimately take the corresponding exam.

10 half-days. The subscription can then be extended every 5 weeks.

Preliminary training

To be able to follow this part-time course you must have:

  • A job at an accredited training company for at least 16 to 20 hours per week. If you don't work at such a company, please visit the website of BrabantZorg for vacancies at recognized training companies;
  • the opportunity to spend an average of 8 to 10 hours per week on practical exercises and self-study during your work;
  • Permission from your employer's training officer to take this training at their workplace. The exam must be able to be taken while you are working;
  • a laptop or computer with an internet connection and average ICT skills.

Certificate of Education
