"LEAN working" is a concept that refers to the continuous improvement of business processes. You also play a role in this. In this basic course, you'll learn how World Class Manufacturing (WCM) can impact your own work environment and how you can apply it to your workplace.

You will learn this

In this course, you'll focus on practical application, including exercises and practical assignments, in addition to theory. At the end, you'll take an exam in which you present your own proposal for improvement.

After this training:

  • Do you have knowledge of the most commonly used LEAN tools (TOC, Kaizen, 5S, Poka Yoke, JIT, FLOW, KANBAN);
  • Can you identify causes using, for example, the '5 x why' or fishbone system?
  • Do you know what is meant by 'added value' and 'waste' in your environment;
  • Are you able to make an improvement proposal using the A3 system?
  • Can you present your improvement proposal to your team?

The training lasts 6 weeks, excluding exam.

Certificate of Education

After successfully completing the exam, you will receive a vocational certificate. With this certificate, you may be exempt from one of the elective courses when you enroll in a vocational program.
