Supervisor of technicians (Automotive)

Experienced employees who want to further enhance their value to the company can take this one-year training program to become a technician manager. It's ideal for those who want to apply technological developments in the automotive industry to their own organization and increase customer value through process optimization.

This course was previously called Technical Manager (Automotive).

With a focus on leadership, strengthening communication and collaboration, and developing organizational skills, participants work on their professional employability and personal development.

After an intensive year, the technician manager receives his or her diploma, and the company is joined by a highly trained employee who has the knowledge and experience to arrange and organize, who can make choices and take responsibility.

Classes take place on Thursday afternoons and evenings, so you won't be affected by the morning or evening rush hour.

The statutory tuition fee for the 2025-2026 school year is €735.

Summa training courses and teaching materials provided by Summa are exempt from VAT. Read more about training costs.

Duration

The program lasts one year, 1 weeks. You'll attend school one day a week (Thursdays from 34:1 PM to 14.00:21.00 PM).

In addition to these hours at school, you will work on practical assignments at your training company and spend approximately 3 hours per week studying theory and preparing assignments.

What can I become with this education?

This program offers opportunities at a general garage for cars or motorcycles, a dealership, or a truck company. You could also become a team leader in the manufacturing industry at companies like DAF or VDL. Moreover, with a diploma, you'll be able to pursue higher professional education in automotive technology, for example, in (automotive) business management or (technical) business administration.
