Effective separation of substances

Do you work in a production environment and are you curious about how mixing and separation techniques work? This course will teach you all the ins and outs of the various production steps related to mixing and separation. You'll look beyond the production step where you normally work, so you'll also learn how a deviation can impact the next production step.

Besides making your work more enjoyable and interesting, this also improves quality and productivity. With more knowledge of the production process, you can identify and pinpoint potential problems sooner.

You will receive theoretical background information on various production techniques and you will work on practical assignments that fit your production process.

After completing the course you will be able to demonstrate that you:

  • identifies deviations in mixtures and makes appropriate corrections to ensure mixture quality;
  • identifies deviations in the separation of substances and carries out appropriate corrections to ensure quality;
  • recognizes process disruptions and resolves problems in the mixing or separation process.
