Do you want to quickly and easily enter or progress into social care? Then this vocational training program is for you.

In this vocational training program, you'll gain specific knowledge and skills that will enable you, as a social care worker, to organize and coordinate activities. You'll also guide clients in taking charge of their own lives. Finally, you'll be able to support clients in building, maintaining, and strengthening their social network.

Costs

This partial training is part of our certificate carousel Care & WelfareThe costs amount to €760. every 5 weeks (including exam fees, excluding course materials). Course materials cost approximately €90. You will receive a welcome email before the course begins informing you of the exact additional costs for course materials.

Duration

10 half-days. The subscription can then be extended every five weeks. More information about how our certificate carousel works can be found at this page.

Location and dates

Classes are held weekly from 9.00:13.15 AM to 3:XNUMX PM in the Summa & Bedrijf skills lab, Willem de Rijkelaan XNUMX, Eindhoven. Classes are not held during regular school holidays and on public holidays.

This course is part of our certification carousel. Weekly sessions are held throughout the year. There are eight intake dates per year. From the start date, you will attend the number of sessions required for your chosen program. Placement is based on order of registration. If an intake date has reached its maximum number of participants, it will no longer be possible to start at that time. During the course, you will complete practical assignments and ultimately take the corresponding practical exam.

PLEASE NOTE Classes will be scheduled as indicated on the website. If there are many registrations, an additional class group may be formed. In that case, classes will be held from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The welcome letter will tell you which class time applies to you.

Preliminary training

  • works at least 16 to 20 hours per week at a recognized training company.
  • During your work, you must be able to dedicate an average of 8 to 10 hours per week to practical exercises and self-study. The exam must be able to be taken during your work hours, and the institution's training officer must be aware that you are taking this training at their workplace.
  • In addition, you have a laptop or computer with an internet connection and you have average ICT skills.

For Whom

This training is for you if you

  • as a lateral entrant who wants to enter social care without having to follow a complete training course to become a personal social care worker (level 4).
  • You want to progress from a level 3 position. With this vocational certificate, you can apply for exemptions from parts of the Personal Support Worker in Social Care (level 4) program.

Certificate of Education

After successfully completing the lessons and the corresponding practical exam, you will receive a nationally recognized vocational certificate. This certificate will be registered in the DUO diploma register.

In-company training possible

This training is available in-company. This way, your employees learn together, at your own location, and fully tailored to their practical needs.
