Production Technician (Construction and Sheet Metal Technologist)

Do you have a vocational diploma (MBO level 3) in all-round construction or sheet metal work and want to further your development? Then this program is perfect for you! You'll learn more about various machines and material properties, and through methodical design, you'll gain insight into improvement processes you can implement within your company. You'll be trained as a specialist on the shop floor. This will increase your value to your employer and your own standing in the job market.

You will learn this

 

In the modern environment of Brainport Industries Campus, you'll work with technical drawing in Inventor and improvement methods like Lean and Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM). You'll also receive training in modern joining and post-processing techniques, such as robotic welding, laser welding, gluing, and sanding.

In guest lectures, technicians from the business community share their vision for the future of technology and how they work with the latest technologies. You'll also see these technologies at several companies.

With your diploma in hand, you can progress to a higher professional education course.
