Sports and exercise instructor (bol)

Working in an environment that offers activities focused on sports and exercise

As a sports and exercise leader, you work with people of different ages and cultural backgrounds. Their reasons for participating in sports can vary, and they don't all have the same level of experience. These differences don't bother you, because the most important thing for you is that everyone enjoys or enjoys sports and exercise.

You'll learn the basic skills of various sports and exercise activities. You'll also learn how to work with people, because as a sports and exercise leader, you'll interact with all kinds of people: from young to old, from beginners to experienced athletes, and from team players to individual athletes. You'll also learn to organize and run events and tournaments.

As a sports and exercise instructor, you're passionate about bringing out the best in others. You enjoy working with people. You're helpful, encouraging, and coaching with participants and your colleagues. You tailor your instructions, the sports and exercise activities, and the way you guide participants to the target group. You ensure a socially safe sports environment, so your participants continue to enjoy attending your classes or training sessions.
The sports training we offer is physical in nature. Please be aware of the risks (such as injuries) that can accompany sports and games.
