What are you going to do?
Can you see yourself choosing your own learning path and developing your entrepreneurial ideas? And all while earning a recognized MBO-4 diploma? Then come quickly to a information sessionYou can start with us at any time of the year after a positive intake.
What does your education look like?
We designed Start-up School as a Playground. A Playground where you, as a student, have the freedom to determine your own path, together with your teacher coach.
There are three fields in the Playground:
- The Discovery Field: Here you'll discover yourself, explore the world of sustainable startups, and work on challenging projects, whether from external clients or your own creation.
- The Development Field: Here you delve deeper into your ideas, you research, experiment and test and you develop yourself further.
- The Entrepreneurial Field: Here you bring your entrepreneurial idea to life, with everything that entails.
There are inspirational sessions, workshops, and lectures in business skills for each field, for which you can register based on your learning needs and goals.
Proactivity and intrinsic motivation are essential; you're in charge. You make your own choices and are given a great deal of freedom and responsibility.
Education and Examination Regulations (OER)
The Education and Examination Regulations (OER) of a course specify what you will be doing in which period, how much time is spent on this and an overview of the exams that will be taken. Find the OER for your course here.
Search by your Crebo number (see the box on the right of this page) to view the OER for the current academic year. This will give you a general idea of what's expected of you when you start the program. The OER for the upcoming academic year will be available in July.
Statutory tuition fees
The statutory tuition fee for the 2026-2027 school year is €1.511. Check DUO.nl for possible student financing.
Other costs
The cost of educational supplies is approximately €300.
Elective courses
You'll also choose one or more electives during your studies to specialize or broaden your knowledge. The program path depends on your personal path. View the elective courses.
What prior education do you need?
Start-up School is suitable for driven students.
To be admitted to this course you need:
- diploma vmbo framework vocational, theoretical or mixed learning pathway or;
- transition certificate from 3 to 4 havo or vwo or;
- MBO level 2 diploma or;
- MBO level 3 diploma or;
- an (uncompleted) vocational, higher professional or university education.
We will review any exceptions to this together.
