Mechatronics Technician (bol)

Design and build automated machines and robots

As a mechatronics technician, you design, build and test mechatronic products such as packaging machines or robots.

A packaging machine that seals bell pepper chips in a bag, accurate to the gram. Or a machine that automatically packages products in a precisely cut box. As a mechatronics technician, you design, build, and test these types of mechatronic products.

Before you work on complex machines or robots, you'll have completed many challenging, enjoyable, and sometimes challenging lessons. The program includes many technical-theoretical subjects, as well as practical ones, such as electrical engineering, control engineering, and metalworking.

You'll learn to design complete automated machines or systems, taking control technology and automation into account. You'll also learn work preparation skills, such as creating working drawings and drawing electrical wiring diagrams.

This broad technical degree will enable you to solve technical problems with automated machines and systems. And, crucially, you'll learn to communicate and organize. You're responsible for the final result. Therefore, it's crucial that you accurately interpret the client's requirements. A rewarding profession!
