Technical specialist vehicles (commercial vehicles) (work-based learning)

Specialist in finding causes and solutions for commercial vehicle breakdowns

Sometimes colleagues in the workshop can't figure it out. Then they call on you, a commercial vehicle technical specialist, to find the cause of malfunctions. This often has to be done under time pressure, because in the transport world, every minute counts. You don't let yourself get carried away and quickly identify the problem thanks to your knowledge of computer-controlled systems and digital equipment.

This often has to be done under time pressure, because in the transport world, every minute counts. You don't let yourself get carried away and quickly identify the problem thanks to your knowledge of computer-controlled systems and digital equipment.

With your diploma, you're often the most highly trained technician in the company. You'll be deployed on complex projects. You're adept at tinkering, but finding causes and solutions is much more challenging. Because technological developments are moving rapidly, you'll keep your knowledge up to date. You'll also ensure your colleagues stay informed.

Communication skills are therefore crucial. You'll be grateful for the training when you need to explain something to a customer based on your specialization. After this training, you'll be ready to tackle any challenge in automotive technology!

The full technical specialist training program formally takes four years. We only offer the final two years for students who already have the necessary professional knowledge.
