NEN 9140-2024 is the safety standard for working on hybrid and electric vehicles. The standard is designed to prevent risks such as electric shock, short circuits, and fire. In this training, you will learn how to recognize and prevent these hazards, and the procedures required to work safely. Working safely prevents accidents and protects you and others.

The course lasts four hours, consisting of 2,5 hours of theory and 1,5 hours of practice. The training includes an e-learning module. This takes approximately 1,5 hours and must be completed satisfactorily before starting the training.

Preliminary training

You meet the requirements for automotive technology at MBO level 3 or are in training for this.

The course is intended for technicians who work on electric vehicles.

Certificate of Education

You'll conclude the training with a knowledge test. If you pass, you'll receive a certificate demonstrating your ability to work safely in accordance with the NEN 9140 standard.
