Nursing IG (work-based learning)

You like to care for people who need care

You enjoy being there for others. Helping and caring for people brings you joy. As a caregiver, you help people who can no longer do everything for themselves. IG stands for individual healthcare.

Working in care is for people who enjoy being there for others. You'll help with eating, washing, and dressing, for example. You'll also administer medication. You'll develop and implement a care plan. You'll provide both physical and emotional support. You'll listen well, empathize, be patient, and respond to the wishes and needs of the people you care for. Because you know them well, you know when something's wrong. In that case, you might contact a general practitioner.

During this training, you'll learn everything you need to know about this profession. You'll also learn how to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
