VeVa – Prospective Safety and Craftsmanship Employee Service and Maintenance Technician (bol)

Becoming a professional in Defence: getting started in technology

Do you value camaraderie and active participation, but also want to become a true technical professional? Then you can work for the Ministry of Defence. We'll prepare you for a position as a Technical Service employee of the Army, Navy, or Air Force.

You'll be trained at your chosen location. There, you'll lay the foundation for your military career, learning things like map reading, drill lessons, and weapons technology classes. At school, you'll learn all about the mechanic trade, servicing and maintaining installations and systems (including actual plumbing), so you'll be able to work professionally and independently on military technology.

Every three weeks, you have a full-week internship with the Ministry of Defence. There, you'll wear a combat uniform just like other soldiers. You'll live and sleep in the barracks and be supervised by military instructors. It's very active, challenging, and educational.

For this program, it's important that you have an active attitude and discipline. If everything goes well, you'll have a full vocational diploma and a good chance of a job in the Ministry of Defence. Hey ho, let's go!

You will also receive lessons in the modern environment of Brainport Industries Campus.

For more information, please also see the Defense website. Safety and Craftsmanship also has its own Insta. On Youtube you will find interesting videos about the course.
