What are you becoming?
As a medical pedicurist, you'll work in a pedicure salon or health center, for example. You can also start your own practice. If you're interested in continuing your studies, this program will provide you with a solid foundation for higher professional education programs in podiatry, physiotherapy, or the Healthcare and Welfare teacher training program.
What does your education look like?
You'll work on the theory in a personalized way. In practice, you'll learn how to interact with clients and perform foot treatments. You'll work in a professional pedicure room with clients from the practice.
In the first year you will learn the basics of foot treatments. Later in your training you will also learn how to examine and treat potentially at-risk feet and how to perform specialist techniques.

Formally, the medical pedicure program takes three years. If you meet the admission requirements, you already have extensive knowledge of the profession. Therefore, you can complete the program in one year.

You will be invited for a personal interview or introductory meeting where you will get to know the school and we will see if this course is a good fit for you.
Vaccination
A Hepatitis B vaccination is arranged and covered by the school. Without this vaccination, you cannot do an internship or work at your training company.
