Practical statement
Learning on the work floor
Employees with a practical certificate demonstrate to employers that they have mastered tasks required for a specific profession.
The employee doesn't need to attend school, and there are no exams. The practical certificate offers employees better job prospects and employers a quickly trained workforce. With this practical knowledge, they can later choose to learn theory, arithmetic, and Dutch at school and work toward a vocational diploma.
Good guidance
Only employers recognized as training companies can offer work placements that lead to a practical certificate. Employees receive proper guidance to master the work processes. Employees can obtain a practical certificate for each work process.
Who is a Practical Declaration intended for?
For job seekers and employees aged 18 or older who are not (yet) able to complete a level 1 vocational education (MBO) program. A practical certificate allows them to complete part of such a program. The program is customized and takes an average of 2 to 3 months. The employee works while retaining their benefits or salary.
