Resits in August or September
Do you want to enroll in a higher professional education program and do you have resits in August or September?
To enroll in a higher professional education program, the legal requirement is that you must have obtained your MBO-1 diploma by September 4st. The way each institution handles this varies.
Once it becomes known that you will not be able to complete your vocational education program before September 1st, and the examination board has therefore not confirmed that you have earned your diploma, you must contact the higher professional education program(s) where you wish to start on September 1st as soon as possible. They will then indicate your options and discuss with you whether you can still start at the beginning of the academic year and under what conditions.
Can a vocational student also register as a higher professional education student after October 1?
For most programs, you must register before September 1st and meet all admission requirements. A key requirement is that you must have obtained your MBO-4 diploma.
Some programs have a February intake. This means those programs also start on February 1st.
