My dream is to have my own fashion brand
Eline Gommans
This program is all about fashion and design. As a stylist, you'll explore which colors and shapes suit someone's body and which outfits are appropriate for a given situation. The program is broad. You'll learn to draw, design a collection, and create collages, mood boards, and color charts. You'll stay on top of the latest trends in styles and colors. You'll also learn the basics of sewing, so you can recognize mistakes. And you'll learn about fabrics, zippers, and buttons, and what's best to use when.
Even fashion history is part of the program. The scriptwriting course is fun, where all the subjects come together in a ten-week project. We're currently producing a fashion magazine. With the junior stylist diploma, you often work for a designer. My dream is to have my own fashion brand, with clothes made under good working conditions. I think that's really important."
