You register with Summa online using your DigiD.

First choose your study program, click on register, and log in with your DigiD. Preferably register before April 1 . In most study programs You are entitled to a place then, if you have the right diploma or level.

Already know what you'd like to study? You can apply now. Please visit one of our open days or evenings To check if you've made the right choice. If you need to make any changes after registering, we'll be happy to help.

You can also register for a course during the open day or evening. Make sure you have your DigiD with you (www.digid.nl).

By signing up you agree to Summa's rules and guidelines. Read the information carefully.

Right to placement

For most programs (programs without a limited number of places), you are eligible for a place in the program of your choice if you apply before April 1st. You must, of course, meet the admission requirements for that program. You can also apply for a program after April 1st if it's not full yet. This is possible until October 1st, if the program has already started.

Limited number of places

Some courses have a limited number of placesIt's best to apply for these programs as soon as possible. Placement is based on the order of application. The program may be full before April 1st. This will be indicated on the program page.

There are also courses with a limited number of places that can select which students can start.

Registering without the correct prior education

Want to start a program but don't have a diploma or the right one? In exceptional circumstances, you can still start the program. Read more about what you need to do when registering with insufficient prior education.

After registration you will be invited for a introductory meeting or introductory interview to see if the course suits you.

Within 10 days, you will receive an invitation for an introductory meeting or gathering. Sometimes we also assess whether you need additional support.

Full = the course is full and you can no longer register.

Waiting list = The course is full, but we have a waiting list. If a spot becomes available, you'll be notified.

Limited number of places = Some full-time courses have a limited number of placesThis is due to the number of available internships. Therefore, there's a chance you won't be accepted into that program. We recommend applying to another program as well.

What happens after I sign up?

You will receive an email with the next steps within a few days. Within 10 days, you will receive an invitation for an introductory interview or meeting.

An introductory meeting is a conversation to see if the program suits you. Sometimes you also discuss whether you need extra help or guidance.

Can I still switch study programs after registering?

Yes, if you want to make a change after signing up, Summa will help you further.
