Register for a course in the 2026-2027 academic year
You can register for a program starting in the 2026-2027 academic year starting Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in the morning. If your desired program isn't listed on the registration website (yet), please check back in an hour. The website will be updated several times throughout the morning.
Take it easy
You don't need to stress about registering; there's plenty of room for everyone. If you absolutely must be quick, registering on that Tuesday is enough to secure a spot in the program of your choice.
In almost all courses You're guaranteed a spot if you register before April 1st. This means you'll have plenty of time to register on March 28th!

Rules and guidelines
By signing up you agree to Summa's rules and guidelines. Read the information carefully.
Right to placement
For most programs (programs without a limited number of places), you are eligible for a place in the program of your choice if you apply before April 1st. You must, of course, meet the admission requirements for that program. You can also apply for a program after April 1st if it's not yet full. This is possible until October 1st.
Limited number of places
Some courses have a limited number of placesIt's best to apply for these programs as soon as possible. Placement is based on the order of application. The program may be full before April 1st. This will be indicated on the program page.
There are also courses with a limited number of places that can select which students can start.
Registering without the correct prior education
Want to start a program but don't have a diploma or the right one? In exceptional circumstances, you can still start the program. Read more about what you need to do when registering with insufficient prior education.
After registration you will be invited for a introductory meeting or introductory interview to see if the course suits you.
How does registration work?
- You can log in to the registration site with your DigiD. If you don't have a DigiD yet, request one via www.digid.nl.
- Follow the steps on the registration site and select the course you want to register for. You can also download these instructions to help you.
- If you don't use the website for 15 minutes, you'll be automatically logged out for security reasons. When you log back in, you can pick up where you left off.
- Within a few days of registering, you'll receive an email with the next steps, including a few questions. This allows us to assess whether you need additional support during your studies.
- If you're attending a secondary school, you're already working on your Digital Progress File (DDD). You should complete this DDD together with your mentor and as soon as possible. We receive the DDD via Intergrip.
- Within 10 days of your registration, you'll receive an invitation for an introductory meeting and possibly a support session. We're glad you've chosen Summa!
