Finding the right program isn't always easy. Where do you begin your search, and do you already know what suits you? We're here to help! Follow our step-by-step plan and make a well-informed study choice.
STEP 1: Interest test
Still unsure about what program is right for you? Choosing your program starts here. Do you enjoy making things with your hands, prefer something creative, or work with numbers and computers?
Do the interest test and discover which area of interest appeals to you.
STEP 2: Study choice test
By completing the study choice test discover which course suits you best.
First, you'll indicate your areas of interest. Then, you'll identify your strengths. Finally, you'll choose a suitable level and learning path (full-time or part-time).
Are you finding steps 1 and 2 very difficult and are you not sure where to start in your search for a course? Then plan a study choice advice interview in, visit the 'I don't know what I want evening' or contact our study choice coaches.
STEP 3: visit the Study Choice Café
Starting in the 2024-2025 school year, the Study Choice Café will be open at Sterrenlaan 10. In this cozy space at Summa Plaza, study choice coaches will help prospective students make their study choices.
Students (and parents) are welcome to drop in Monday through Friday between 10:00 AM and 15:00 PM. Prefer a personal appointment? No problem! Call 040 269 4444 to make an appointment. Of course, the contact options via WhatsApp and email available.

STEP 4: Visit the open day
Yes, the thinking is done! There are still a few programs in the running for your application. Come to the open day from Summa!
Experience what it's like to be a student here and browse through the (online) textbooks. Meet the lecturers or talk to students about their experiences at Summa.
Summa has 25 different locations. Before an open day or work experience visit, be sure to check where you need to be.
STEP 5: Walk-along day
Time for the real deal. Come along for a day with students from the program. You'll attend a few classes together with the student and can ask any questions you have. This way, you'll find out if you'll feel at home here.
